There is a place City Lansdowne in India, which is known as the Indian Army Centre of Garhwal Rifles. This is a place which is one of those beautiful places of Uttarakhand about which people of our Uttarakhand know and there are some people who come to visit here. City Lansdowne looks like that;

Here is the Indian Army Centre of Garhwal Rifles, which is training centre of Garhwali's. The youth of Garhwal who want to become army men prepare themselves for recruitment and the selected youth in Army are trained in Indian Army Centre of Garhwal Rifles. This is one of the best Army Training Centres in India.

Now here are some other places which are famous for their beauty, where seeing the beauty is a different experience. It is one of the few places in Uttarakhand that no one would want to come back to see the beauty after going there.

Located on the Mall Road, this Roman Catholic Church was built in 1936. The beautiful interiors and serene atmosphere makes it a must visit place.

The roads here look like a giant snake that looks like a real giant snake in the dark, a black giant snake.

It will be very exciting for tourists to see this at night. Some people say that "it is a mountain snake, on top of which if the car moves fast, it will harm everyone along with the driver'. That means some peoples in moutntain areas drive faster that results a big accident, so please drive slow in mountain areas.

Bhullaatal Lake

Bhullaatal Lake, Lansdowne, Uttarakhand, India.

It is an artificial man made lake dedicated to the Garhwali youth of The Garhwal Rifles who helped in construction of the lake, located just 1 km from the Lansdowne city centre.

This place is perfect for a picnic, for travel and also it is perfect for living place which gives you a peace enviroment.

In winter season Lansdowne become a heaven which gives a beautiful nature and its wonderful season on that place.
