The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Shiva. The temple is situated amidst dense forests of cedar, cedar and cedar. Previously, a Shivalinga was present in the Tarakeswar Mahadev temple, but now Lord Shiva, who performs the Tandava, is worshiped.
